The BMW M 1000 R had an output of 154 kW (210 hp) and a DIN unaden weight of just 199 kg, the new M 1000 R – known as the M R for short – delivers driving dynamics in the naked bike segment that are otherwise reserved for thoroughbred superbikes. To this end, the M R is equipped with special winglets in black structured paint to increase downforce.

Homologated for racing, aerodynamically perfected in the wind tunnel and further developed on the circuit – the BMW M 1000 RR raises the bar for race-approved superbikes once again. This is evidenced by its top speed of 314 km/h and the enormous power of its braking system, which brings the superbike from 314 km/h to a controlled standstill in just 10.7 seconds.
