Cabela’s Big Horn Tent

I purchased this tent some 15 years ago to go on a hunting trip that never materialized. Then time and age, and poor health caught up with me and it’s been sitting in dry storage since then. I am too disabled to set it up and I will never use it. Time to pass it on to someone who will. IF you want to set it up to look at it, I could probably assist you. The stories I have read about it all tell of how tough it is resisting inclement weather. Here’s a description of it from Cabela’s site awhile back:
The Cabela’s® Big Horn 6-Person Tent is sturdy enough to take on extreme conditions on your outdoor adventures. This roomy Cabela’s multi-person, single-wall tent is made of XTC fabric to repel rain and snow. A heavy-duty STEEL frame ensures support to withstand wind and precipitation. The tent measures 12′ x 14′ with an 8′ 6″ roof tapering to 5′ 6″ sidewalls. The hexagonal design offers room for cots, gear, and a stove around the sides while leaving the middle area open. The seams are factory sealed. Cabela’s has discontinued these tents and they are getting harder to find while in great demand!
